Heelscher Company Ultrasonic Dispersion Crushing Sealed Eppendorf Tube
Ultrasonic treatment of the liquid in the vial (epper tube) can be performed instantly with zero contamination. Up to 10 tubes can be processed simultaneously.
Ultrasonic treatment of liquids inside standard vials (such as Eppendorf tubes) is typically performed by immersing vials stored in a basket in the water of a general ultrasonic bath for an extended period. The ultrasonic equipment in the ultrasonic bath not only has low output and amplitude but also causes the ultrasound to attenuate as it passes through the medium of water, resulting in only minimal cavitation occurring inside the vials. The Heelscher ultrasonic equipment has developed a technology that allows for air operation, enabling vials to be inserted into a special holder that is vibrated intensely to generate strong cavitation inside. (This is almost an air operation.) This is the VialTweeter. Compared to ultrasonic baths, the VialTweeter can generate over 1000 times the cavitation inside the vials. Therefore, it can complete ultrasonic treatment of vials that would normally take time, almost instantaneously. <Applications> Cell lysis, dissolution, nanodispersion of aggregates, reduction of particle size, extraction, emulsification, Chemical reactions (sonochemistry) <Fields> Biology, nanomaterials, inks & pigments, chemicals, cosmetics, food & beverages.
